European Standard DIN EN1082

DIN EN 1082-1 defines the requirements for protective clothing - gloves and arm guards to protect against cuts and stab injuries from hand knives - Part 1: Metal ring mesh gloves and arm guards.
DIN EN 1082-2 defines the requirements for protective clothing - gloves and arm guards to protect against cuts and stab injuries from hand knives - Part 2: Gloves and arm guards made of materials without metal ring mesh.
Various protective properties are tested and grouped into performance levels (0-4).
If individual protective properties have not been tested, they are marked with an X.
0 indicates the gloves reached the minimum performance level for the intended hazard.
